AFTER

CARE

Please read all instructions to ensure you can commit to the lip blush process. How you care for your fresh lips greatly affects the healed outcome.

DAY 1

For 2 hours after treatment, apply light pressure on lips with a clean paper towel to remove any lymph. Ice if needed. After 2 hours, start applying ointment as needed to keep lips constantly moist. Refrain from kissing, rubbing, or any friction on treatment area.

DAY 1-3

Keep lips moist at all times by applying ointment every 30-60 mins. Avoid oily, spicy, heavily seasoned food, and drink with a straw.

DAY 4-7

Between these days, lips will begin and end the process of peeling, and color will lighten 30 - 50%. Do not pick or rub your lips. Instead, allow the peeling to happen naturally. Continue keeping your lips moist!

ENTIRE FIRST WEEK

Avoid direct sunlight, makeup, skincare, submerging in water, swimming or sweating.

WEEK 2 - 7

Lips are done peeling and color is light. You may return to normal routines. Lips will continue to heal, up to 8 weeks. Every week more color will surface. It is important to continue keeping lips moist to get the best color at the end of the healing process.

post

care

THE

PROCESS

Like many cosmetic procedures, lip blush takes time to perfect. Your tattoo will undergo several stages. Be patient, and TRUST THE PROCESS!

[ Day 1 ] lips feel swollen, tight, tender, and the color appears opaque and intense

[ Day 2-3 ] they are even darker and still feel swollen, but are no longer sensitive.

[ Day 4 ] the skin is flaking/scabbing and the color has faded significantly.

[ Day 5-7 ] still dry with a little flaking, but almost back to normal.

[ Day 8-10 ] dryness has subsided, but they’re looking a little patchy.

[ 2-4 Weeks ] where did the color go!? It’s super light, and I’m worried.

[ 5-7 Weeks ] whew! The color is slowly starting to resurface more and more each week.

[ 8 Weeks ] the color has evened out and I’m obsess with my new lips.
