Lip Blush - FAQ

what is LIp blush?

Lip Blush is a semi-permanent tattoo treatment used to enhance the natural lip shape, symmetry, and color.

How does it work?

Pigment is applied with a rotary tool to add definition and conceal imperfections.

What is the pain level?

Although pain tolerance varies from person to person, numbing agents are used throughout the procedure to alleviate discomfort.

Are different colors

available?

A wide range of pink, coral, and red tones are available to create a customized shade. This will be determined with your artist prior to your treatment.

IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?

The healing process lasts approximately 3-4 days. During that time you may experience dryness and texture until the lips naturally exfoliate themselves.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT IMMEDIATELY

AFTER?

Like any tattoo, swelling and redness is unavoidable. You may experience an intensified vibrancy from the pigment causing a temporary boldness to your lips. As they heal, swelling will diminish, vibrancy will settle, and color will restore to a natural finish.

how long does lamination

last?

Approximately 2-5 years. Skin type and lifestyle can affect the longevity of your cosmetic tattoo - we can not guarantee specific results.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I NEED A

TOUCHUP?

Healed results are unique to each client and we do our best to create a consistent experience. Touch ups are beneficial for layering the pigment for more saturation and must be completed within 10 weeks from the original session for the reduced price-point to be honored.

CAN LIP BLUSH BE REMOVED?

As with nearly all tattoos, lip blush can be removed with laser treatments.

DOES LIP BLUSH TAKE THE

PLACE OF FILLER?

While Lip Blush enhances many aspects of natural lips, it does not physically add volume like injectable filler.
